Since I grew up near New Orleans, my love of music was geographically necessary at an early age and I miss the sweet sounds that emit from the clubs in French Quarter and elsewhere in the city. Even though I have lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for the last 20 years, my quest for great music has not let up. Weekends can find me anywhere in the city and at least once a month heading to the airport to a concert or music festival somewhere between the two coasts.

My day job involves working in an aerospace company ( yes, with a bunch of geeks even though I am not one) and my reason for starting this blog is some people I associate with think my life is pretty interesting . I don’t know if my life is interesting but I just choose to live it differently than most. This gives me an opportunity to put it down in one place and all my family, friends and anyone else that is so inclined can check up on me occasionally and see what is going on.

My intentions are to post 4-5 times a week on various subjects related to travel and music and probably other surprises thrown in but I promise religion and politics are off the table. My purpose is not to just to tell you about what is going on with me, but to educate and inform as well as bring humor in as much as possible.
