2008 Rothbury Music Festival Adds Some More Phish!!!!

Damn, how much better can the Rothbury Music Festival get????

Lounging on my couch listening to Gov’t Mule jamming on iClips.net at Mountain Jam, Wild Turkey on the Rocks at my side (medicinal purposes for an aching back) and catching up on my many emails, I find out that Trey Anastasio is added to an already out of this world lineup…. Sweet!!!

Also joining the former Phish guitarist ( or could there be a reunion???) in this addition to the agenda:

• Kraak & Smaak
• Underground Orchestra
• DJ Harry
• Pnuma Live P.A.
• Fiction Plane

Now Jon Fishman will be hanging with the Yonder Mountain String Band and Mike Gordon will be doing his own thing, a betting man such as myself will lay money down that between now and the 4th of July Weekend that Page McConnell will be making an announcement that he will be playing.

I saw Page sitting in with Widespread Panic at JazzFest…. could he make another appearance???

I also saw Page at JazzFest sitting in with Porter - Batiste - Stoltz. George Porter, Jr. will be at Rothbury with the Mickey Hart Band and I am sure Mickey would not mind another guy tickling the ivories. Inquiring minds want to know…..
