2008 New Orleans JazzFest Review & Photos - Day 1, May 1st - 2nd Weekend
Reviews this weekend will be a bit short and sweet, but I am hoping the photos make up for it a bit. So much to do, so little time for blogging…..
Johnny Sketch & The Dirty Notes - rocking good way to start the day
Bonerama - Trombones and hot chicks made for an appreciative crowd
Porter-Batiste-Stoltz - Page McConnell from Phish even sat in for while
Widespread Panic - was ” Schools Stage Left” and Page McConnell pays another visit on stage and so did the Wild Magnolia Indians
Tower of Power - boys from Oakland can still get it on after all these years
Galactic - made a trip down to the Riverboat Creole Queen and worked my way up to stage right and the “Houseman” made several appearances.
More later…
