New Orleans Jazz Fest After Hours Music, Do you know where you will wind up???
After the Jazz and Heritage Festival calls it quits around 7 ‘ish every evening, the sun goes down and the music starts playing all around the Crescent City. Now the scene is starting to shape up so you can figure out those late night schedules.
To begin with, always head over to JazzFestGrids.com as it has a comprehensive list of all after hours shows as well as days in between the two weekends of JazzFest. I am not sure who updates this on a regular basis, but if I ever meet them, drinks are on me. This valuable info always saves me countless time in planning my nighttime exploits.
One of the most popular places to head to is the Riverboat Creole Queen to hear a variety of late night shows while cruising around the Mississippi River. These are hosted by SuperFly Productions and the schedule so far has New Orleans favorites The Radiators on Apr 25th, Galactic on May 1st as well as The Greyboy Allstars on May 2nd. Tickets for these shows go on sale starting Sat, Feb 23rd.
A little more than 2 months to wait for music overload… as well as food and drink.. and a bit of sleep deprivation.
