2008 Bonnaroo Music Festival lineup is out !!

After perusing the list of artists to appear in TN in June at Bonnaroo, I am certainly kind of surprised by the choice of Metallica as one of the headliners.  What is up with that ????

I have never ventured up north for this festival, but after chatting with a few of my running buddies last year at various venues who have been is seems like madness to me.  I think I will go for more subdued festivals such as JazzFest ….  ok, it is managed madness….

Tickets are going for $210.00 starting this Saturday, Feb 16th and going up in price once the allocation is gone and this includes camping and parking.  Not bad for 3 days of music.

The VIP tickets are going for $1170 per pair and include a variety of amenites such as special camping / parking, shower facilities, VIP party and other perks.  I hear the air can get a bit ripe as you approach the last day of festival, so a shower might be of high importance… especially to the guy next to you…

They even have a payment plan for the cash deprived.  Interesting…..
