Voodoo Music Festival Streaming Videos from 1999 - 2006

I was checking for any updates on the Voodoo Music Festival when I ran across videos from past festivals all the way back to 1999 on the website.  Ahhh, I have found a new way to kill idle time on my hands.

The first one that caught my eye was a performance from last year with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Meters on stage together. Now that is a combo I would have never dreamed married in the spotlight, but it is well worth watching. Leo Nocentelli and John Frusciante trading licks, "Flea" and George Porter, Jr. bringing the low end tones, Zigaboo Modeliste and Chad Smith on the skins and Art Neville in the background on the organ. Anthony Kiedis was wandering around mesmerized…..
