Mountain Jam tickets finally arrived!!!!

Finally got my tickets in the mail for Mountain Jam and looking forward to being outside again for music next weekend, with Wakarusa Festival being the following weekend.  Best of all, 10 straight days away from my Dilbert life in a cubicle.

In looking closer at the schedule at Mountain Jam, I am glad they will be switching back and forth between 2 stages without any overlap, so no flipping of quarters to figure out where to go next. According to the map of the site, the two stages will be close to each other, so no change in seating will be nice. I have only seen about 1/2 of the bands before and a huge change in atmosphere from Fort Worth to the Catskill Mountains will be a welcome change.

They will have a bit of my hometown area in New York with New Orleans Social Club and Papi Mali, huge jam with Robert Randolph & The Family Band and Michael Franti & Spearhead and a bit of the Grateful Dead with Phil Lesh making an appearance with John Scofield and others. Also on top of all this is Gov’t Mule closing out both Friday and Saturday night with what I am sure will be extended sets.  Sweeeeet !!!!!
